Vinamilk’s Supply Chain and the Small Farmers’ Involvement

Luc, Thi Thu Huong Supply chain management is the critical success factor in the food processing industries in general and in dairy firms in particular. This article tries to analyze the current state of the supply chain of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), the leading player in the country’s dairy industry. Along with the supply chain’s description and analysis, this article also illustrates the challenges of fresh milk procurement activities for the multiple small farmers in the country. The article ends up with some solutions for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Vinamilk’s supply chain as well as for the higher participation and benefits for the small farmers. Preparation of Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 thin films sputtered from a multi-element metallic target

Nguyen, Thanh Huy Vu, Ngoc Hung Nguyen, Phu Thuy PZT thin films have been grown on Pt/Ti/Si02/Si substrates by the reactive RF-magnetron sputtering deposition method using a multi-element metallic target. The AB03 perovskite structure in the thin films sputtered at a substrate temperature of 250 °c was formed through various intermediate phases by annealing at 650 °c for 1 hour in the air or an oxygen gas ambience. The film compositions were estimated by Electron Probe Micro-Analyzer (EPMA). The surface morphology observed by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) showed a densely packed grain structure with no rosettes structure. The remanent polarization value of the thin film with a thickness of 500 nm was 1.37 nC/cm . Theoretical Prediction of ZnO Nanoporous Allotropes with Triangular Hollow

Vu, Ngoc Tuoc Nguyen, Thi Thao The advancement of technology has now made to enable not only growth materials in layer-by-layer or even in sub-layer with a desired ingredient. Further, it is expected to enable to manipulate on material layers at the desired address. This opens up opportunities for creating porous structures with specific allotropes - the purpose of materials engineering geometry. Zinc oxide (ZnO) material, along with wurtzite and zinblende, has been found in a large number of allotropes with substantially different properties, and hence, applications. Therefore, predicting and synthesizing new classes of ZnO allotropes is of great significance and has been gaining considerable interest.
