Spatial organization for rational land use and environmental protection in Uong Bi Town by functional sub-areas

Spatial or territorial organization is one of effective tools for sustainable land use. Spatial organization of land use and environmental protection by functional sub-areas is performed on the basis of comprehensive and integrated research on characteristics and differentiation laws of natural components and landscapes, socio-economic factors, the present status and trend of environmental changes as well as the structures andfunctions of sub-areas. Uong Bi is a national center for tourism, coal mining and thermal power production. The development of economic sectors has led to a seriesof urgent environmental and social problems, requiring implementation of plans and solutions forensuring sustainable development. This paper proposes a scientific-based spatial organization ofland use and environmental protection by eight functional sub-areas in the Uong Bi Town area.

Vinamilk’s Supply Chain and the Small Farmers’ Involvement

Luc, Thi Thu Huong Supply chain management is the critical success factor in the food processing industries in general and in dairy firms in particular. This article tries to analyze the current state of the supply chain of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), the leading player in the country’s dairy industry. Along with the supply chain’s description and analysis, this article also illustrates the challenges of fresh milk procurement activities for the multiple small farmers in the country. The article ends up with some solutions for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Vinamilk’s supply chain as well as for the higher participation and benefits for the small farmers. Hàm ý hội thoại trong phim kinh điển "Spotlight"

Nguyễn, Quang Ngoạn Cao, Văn Hương Trên cơ sở lý thuyết về hàm ý hội thoại (conversational implicature) của Grice (1975), bài báo phân tích các cách thức biểu đạt hàm ý hội thoại dựa trên ngữ liệu từ tác phẩm điện ảnh kinh điển “Spotlight” (đoạt giải Oscar 2015). Ngữ liệu nghiên cứu được thu thập từ hội thoại của các nhân vật chính là thành viên của đội điều tra Spotlight. Tổng cộng 41 đoạn hội thoại trong phim cho thấy có sự “cố ý vi phạm” các phương châm hội thoại. Từ ngữ liệu được phân tích, các tác giả dùng thao tác suy ý (inference) để tìm ra hàm ý của tham thể giao tiếp.
