Composite material with polymer matrix - titanium particle is qidely applied in Vietnam, today. In this paper, the bending of thin polymer composite plate with Titanium particles under the effect of the steady temperature field is investigated. The paper has established the boundary problem of a simply supported composite plate reinforced by particles under the influence of steady heat transfer process.

Vinamilk’s Supply Chain and the Small Farmers’ Involvement

Luc, Thi Thu Huong Supply chain management is the critical success factor in the food processing industries in general and in dairy firms in particular. This article tries to analyze the current state of the supply chain of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), the leading player in the country’s dairy industry. Along with the supply chain’s description and analysis, this article also illustrates the challenges of fresh milk procurement activities for the multiple small farmers in the country. The article ends up with some solutions for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Vinamilk’s supply chain as well as for the higher participation and benefits for the small farmers. Electronic and magnetic properties of C-60-Fe-n-graphene intercalating nanostructures (n=1-6) predicted from first-principles calculations

Le, Hung M. Ng, Wilson K. H. Hirao, Hajime Graphene and C-60 can establish coordination bonds with transition metal atoms/clusters. Using first-principles modeling methods, we explore the C(60)Fengraphene intercalating nanostructures (n = 16), which may have potential applications in, e.g., spintronics. Twelve optimized configurations are found to possess good energetic stability (with binding energies of 4.2220.54 eV). Eleven structures have different magnitudes of magnetism (2.0012.75 mu B/cell), whereas one is non-magnetic. The magnetism is highly correlated with the bonding orientations between Fe atoms and C-60. Seven nanostructures possess good half metallicity (with the spin polarization effects >0.8), while the non-magnetic structure is found to be insulating. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
